Jessie Foreman, Head Instructor/Owner Operator

Studying Martial Arts for over 40 years, Mr Foreman is the Foundation and Founder for Hananim Way Tae Kwon Do. He has been involved in the local community his whole life, serving young people as a mentor and guide. He taught Tae Kwon Do in Burton and Flint, as well as running summer enrichment classes in Martial Arts. His love and compassion for his students is evident in his gentle but firm teaching, leading them through the path of Tae Kwon Do.

 

 

Josh Caldwell, Senior Instructor

Mr Caldwell has been involved in Martial Arts for almost 20 years, holding Black Belt ranking in Tae Kwon Do and and TaeBongSooDo (a mixed style of Tae Kwon Do, Judo and Modern Arnis/Escrima). He also holds ranking in Pai Lum Kung Fu, Aikido and Freestyle Judo. He has been involved in the local Flint, Grand Blanc and Burton community teaching Martial Arts classes, public Self Defense courses, and Martial Arts demos/safety talks for local schools and youth groups. Mr Caldwell’s experience in local tournaments, unique perspective from his Judo, Kung Fu and Escrima training, and love for all things Martial Arts has given this school and students a view beyond the traditionalism of Tae Kwon Do.

Jamie Felts, Instructor

Ms Felts has been involved in Martial Arts over 10 years, holding Black Belt ranking in Tae Kwon Do and TaeBongSooDo (a mixed style of Tae Kwon Do, Judo and Modern Arnis/Escrima). Ms. Felts also holds ranking in Freestyle Judo and Aikido. Ms Felts has been involved in her local community, teaching Martial Arts to all ages through Self Defense seminars, Flint Community Outreach, school demos and local Martial Arts classes. She has participated in Martial Arts tournaments and Gracie Jujitsu Bullyproof camps. Ms Felts’ knowledge of techniques, love for her students and gentle leading has given our students of all ages a role model to strive after.

 

 

 

Chris Cheng, Instructor 

Mr. Cheng has been involved in Martial Arts for over 10 years. He holds Black Belt ranking in Tae Kwon Do. He also holds ranking in Shaolin Kenpo and Aikido. Mr. Cheng is involved in his community through the local Church outreach programs, as well as teaching Martial arts to all ages at our school. His firm approach, understanding of correct technique and undisputed Godly character gives our students a positive role model to strive after inside and out of our school.
